Countryside Security Scheme

We have launched a rural security scheme, providing Responsible Access notices on A5 foam board that can be attached to gates and posts.

The scheme invites the public to report rural crime, and provide the evidence to a monitored email address, from which we can liaise with the Rural Crime Officer in the local police, and the landowner.

We can also fit and maintain 4G and 5G enabled trail cams, to alert the landowner to intrusion, such as unauthorised shooting, poaching or fly-tipping.

We manage your environmental responsibilities for deer, creating addition income for you.

All it takes is one email from you to us to start the process.

We then discuss with you to understand your objectives and provide a package delivering that. Your objectives may be to:

1. Improve deer health by maintaining the optimum population of healthy animals, or

2. Reduce numbers to limit damage to crops, or

3. Remove deer from forestry, or

4. Maximise financial income, e.g. from accompanied stalks & grants.

You set the goals. We deliver them. All without cost to you at any stage.  We provide revenue to you from grants, stalking and game dealers within the objectives you set.

For more information contact the email on the poster available here.

DEFRA report that there are two million deer in the UK, when their environment can support only a small fraction of this.  With all natural predators removed, the responsibility to maintain a healthy population falls on man.

Rather than commercial culls, stalking is a better solution as it returns income to landowners, provides a steady stream of venison into the human food chain, and provides a sporting challenge to stalkers.

We support stalkers with:

1.  FAC support authorisations, enabling you to use appropriate firearms for deer stalking

2.  Accompanied stalks

3.  Training in all aspects of stalking and to achieve the desired deer management objectives
